KOVE DAKAR 2025: STAGE 1

The first full day of racing occured today with a 499km Stage 1. All the Kove riders did great in what was probably the toughest opening stage for Dakar ever! Cactus and thorns were plentiful with many riders coming back with torn jerseys and battle wounds on their arms.

Currently, we’re waiting on reports from UK Kove rider James Hiller who apparently had a crash of some kind, hopefully he’s alright and can continue.

Neels and Mason finished at 19 and 20 for the day, Sunier, of course came back laughing as he always does with a big smile on his face, Liansong was right behind him and after removing a few cactus barbs is ready for Stage 2.
